Trim-fix adhesive is suited for bonding fabrics and lining such as carpet, foam and headlining to each other or to other materials like wood, metal, plastic or rubber. Making this perfect for vehicle conversion, coach building, marine and most re-trimming applications.
With a high temperature resistance up to 110 degrees and is extremely flexible. High temperature adhesive is often used when refurbishing the interiors of coaches, caravans, leisure homes, boats and other similar vehicles, so it's perfect for your campervan conversion.
Please Note - Do not use on flexible (plasticised) PVC. Always check safety and usage instructions on the can before use.
After extensive research we have found that the best formula we have found is to work on 1 can per 1 metre length of carpet, foam or insulation. As a rough guide 10 cans is enough to fix the lining carpet to an entire small campervan.
Please Note - If you have a high-top van or a larger vehicle please measure the panels before purchasing your lining carpet. The carpet comes in a 2m width which will not be enough for some larger vehicles side panels.
Preparation is key, before apply the adheisve make sure that the surface is clean, dry and contaminant free. Adjust the nozzle to give the required spray pattern. From a distance of approx. 25cm (10 inches), spray one surface horizontally and the other vertically with a minimum coverage of 90%. When the adhesive then becomes touch dry press the items firmy together from the centre working outwards to exclude air bubbles and giving the best possible contact.
Important - The adhesive dries in under two minutes with normal conditions, but this will vary under different temperatures and humidities. Over spraying or pooling will also slow the drying process.
You can return any purchase, for any reason, up to 30 days after purchase. Returned items should be unused and returned in original packaging, alongside any enclosed documentation. A full refund shall be issued within 3 - 5 working days of recieving the item/s back, the refund shall be issued to your original form of payment.
Before returning an item, please make sure:
- The item/s are in the same condition that they arrived in, we don't accept returns on used items.
- Make sure you are returning the item via a TRACKED SERVICE, this is for your own security as if an untracked service is used and the item is lost, there is nothing we can do about this.
- Any discrepancies with your order must be reported within 5 working days of the delivery date. All orders will come with a packing slip, please send us a picture of this along with your order number and a description of the issue.
- If we are found to be fault a pre paid label shall be provided, we WON'T refund a postage label if you have decided to send the item back yourself.
